Control Burns
Sometimes you will need to burn grass, brush piles or stubble. Please be sure you are well prepared and that you have fire guards in place. These "controlled burns" must be reported to avoid dispatching firefighters unnecessarily.

Fire Fighting Insurance
All ratepayers are strongly encouraged to have appropriate firefighting insurance. Contact your local broker for more information.
Fire Ban Lifted
As of May 25, 2023 the Fire Ban has been lifted.

Stay informed about when and where you are allowed to burn in the province with the Fire Ban Map.
